BCH type solid fuel water boilers are based on high gas velocity inside flue gas tubes. This technology ensures clean flue gas tubes from particles and high heat transfer rates from flue gases to water. During boiler’s operation, flue gas velocities inside tubes are 30-35 m/s, thus tubes remain clean and boiler is efficient through its life time, resulting also low service cost.
BCH boiler includes as standard equipment an external flue gas ventilator and a cleaning cyclone properly designed to separate 90% of solid fuel fine dust, and send exhaust gas cleaned to the stack.
Combustion chamber is horizontal, cylindrical, made of fire resistant material around solid fuel burner head. In back part of combustion chamber flue gas velocity is minimized and big solid fuel pieces are separated , collected at the bottom and continue to burn.
Solid fuel burner ignition, service and cleaning is easily done through an access side door. In front side of the boiler, there is position for an emergency conventional burner (optional). This burner can start operating directly , without any safety actions for the solid fuel burner.
BCH boiler includes double front & back access doors for exhaust gas tubes and collector. Easy installation thanks to proper connection pipes for water inlet-outlet, boiler fill-discharge, expansion vessel, pressure gauge, thermometer. All automation and safety instruments are inside solid burner’s electrical panel
Applications of BCH boilers : in greenhouses, industrial processes, dryers, food processing, where low cost solid biomass fuel is available ( granulated up to 30 mm).
